I do not comment when posting here, or sending out the daily email because The reader is left to interpret the quote and how it may apply to him or her. It is amazing the occasional comment I receive that a particular quote was exactly what the subscriber needed.
The other reason, especially with the emails, is I try to keep them a fast read. There's a lot of email in the inbox, so I try to use relatively short, to the point, quotes.
Eventually, I hope to have this site provide links with more information about the authors.
